To create a backup via phpMyAdmin please proceed as follows:

  • Log in to phpMyAdmin.
  • Select the database you want to backup on the left side.
  • In the upper navigation select the menu item Export.
  • Now select the table(s) you want to save, select Structure and Data, Full or Advanced Inserts and click Submit.
  • If you want this backup to be compressed right away, select zip or gzip and start the process with OK.
