We would like to inform you about a recent fault with one of our upstream providers.
Fault:
Our upstream provider reported technical problems with its Carrier Ethernet. A controller in one of the devices did not switch correctly, resulting in a widespread outage.
Impact:
Although all of our external services continued to function without interruption due to our redundant connection, our internal office network was affected by the disruption. This led to restrictions in our local network usage.
Status:
Our provider is working on rectifying the problem and on measures to prevent future outages of this kind. We are in close contact to continue monitoring the situation.
