First of all, we are glad that you want to switch and therefore we have prepared instructions on how the switch can work. We need your help:

  1. Contact us via ticket or phone and tell us that you want to switch to Plesk.
  2. We will set up a brand new Plesk account for you and send you the access data.
  3. You will have a look at the new web interface and familiarize yourself with it.
  4. As soon as you have found your way around, please set up your email addresses, your domains and subdomains and create your databases.
  5. Now you start to transfer your data. That means, you download them from the old server and transfer them to your new account.
  6. If you have transferred everything so far, then you inform us about it. We will then start to convert your domain and set up the missing SSL certificates.
  7. As soon as the DNS entry for your domains has been changed over, the accesses will arrive on your new account after 1-2 days.
  8. After 3 weeks we will delete the old account under Easyklix.
  9. Done!

If there are several gigabytes of data in your account and it would be very tedious to transfer them via an FTP program, you can ask us for help. We will copy your data from the old server to the new Plesk server. Of course we can also do this for your databases, but the new databases must already be created.
